Louise William's Lunch Bunch (Sunday, March 4th 2007)                                                               Photo Gallery

The theme of this first luncheon event was Think Green! Louise, Carla and Paul did an incredible job! The purpose of this event and others in the future is Fellowship. Everyone has the chance of getting to know one another in a wonderful loving atmosphere. The tables were beautifully decorated and Louise had planned a little game as we all sat down to eat. We had to write on the paper place mat as many things as possible that God had made green. The winner was Caroline Lindauer with a list of 45 items! A small gift was presented to her by Louise. Congratulations Caroline. Thank you Louise for the hard work and enthusiasm you, your daughter and son-in-law gave to us all. We all are looking forward to the next event on April 1st.

5th Sunday Sing (Sunday, November 30, 2008)                                                                                Photo Gallery

This was the first time that PVACC had hosted the "5th Sunday Sing". Churches from around the area came to sing hymns and it was a most memorable evening.  Our pianist David Cummings did a marvelous job of playing the many hymns that were chosen by the congregation. Afterwards,  refreshments were served in the Fellowship Hall. The next 5th Sunday Sing will take place on March 29, 2009 and hosted by the Disciples Church in Norwalk.

Joint CWF/DW Dinner Meeting (Tuesday, May 5, 2009)                                                                 Photo Gallery

A joint meeting of the Christian Women's Fellowship and the Disciples Women was held in the in the Fireside Room and Fellowship Hall. A light dinner was served followed by Doris Dean and Barbara Moser co-teaching "Learning to Listen to God". It was a wonderful time of fellowship, inspiration and the fine-tuning of one's ability to listen to one another and to God.

PVACC 1st Annual Blessing of The Animals (Sunday, October 4, 2009)                                     Photo Gallery

This was the first "Blessing of The Animals" service in the history of the church and was held on the front lawn. The weather was perfect ~ not too hot for our little friends. Dr. Carlos Piar blessed each pet as it was brought forward by its owner. Afterwards, refreshments were served in the Fellowship Hall. A group of children had specially prepared "doggie cookies" the night before.  Click on the "Photo Gallery" to view the pictures and go to the "Audio Archives" to listen to the service. It was truly a memorable occasion!
